Not a big story in a game in Wendouree where 7th rankedMiners (6-5) were outplayed by second ranked Pioneers (9-3) 116-69 on Saturday. Mt.Gambier shot 61.9 percent from the field and made 22-of-29 free shots (75.9 percent) during the game, while Ballarat M. only scored five points from the stripe. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Pioneers have a solid series of four victories in a row. Mt.Gambier maintains second place with 9-3 record having just two point less than leader BA CoE. Loser Miners dropped to the ninth position with five games lost. They share it with Nunawading S. and Eltham W..
