There was no surprise in Runcorn where 11th rankedSouth West Metro Pirates (1-3) were crushed by second ranked Capitals (4-1) 115-85 on Saturday. Brisbane C. dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to South West Metro Pirates 's 44. The former international swingman Samuel McDaniel (198-1995, college: ULM) stepped up and scored 22 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners and naturalized Nigerian guard Uche Dibiamaka (193-1999, college: St.Edward's) chipped in 19 points and 7 rebounds. Four Capitals players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Canadian guard Dragan Stajic (188, college: Ottawa) with 29 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and center Ben Volkman (206-1997, college: Maryville, MO) scored 15 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Capitals have a solid series of four victories in a row. Brisbane C. keeps a position of league leader. Loser South West Metro Pirates keeps the eleventh place with three games lost.
