Another upset was a game betweenGators (5-6) and Devils (3-7), which took place in Werribee. Higher ranked Gators were outleveled in a road game by eleventh ranked Devils 129-92 on Sunday. Wyndham dominated down low during the game scoring 78 of its points in the paint compared to Gators 's 34. Wyndham had a 39-27 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Wyndham made 7 blocks. The winners were led by guard Mayoum Mayoum (193, college: Miami Dade CC) who scored that evening 43 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 4 assists (on 19-of-21 shooting from the field) and American power forward Malik Miller (206-1995, college: Claflin) supported him with 18 points and 5 rebounds. Five Devils players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 23 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists by American forward Bryce Brown (203, college: Lindsey Wilson) did not help to save the game for Shepparton . His fellow American import forward Ryan Batte (198-1999, college: Thomas More) added 23 points and 12 rebounds for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Wyndham moved-up to tenth place. Shepparton lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh position with six games lost.
