There was a minor upset in Kilsyth where 4th placedCobras (7-5) were outplayed by tenth ranked Blues (7-5) 107-73 on Sunday. Frankston B. dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Cobras 's 32. Frankston B. outrebounded Kilsyth C. 46-29 including a 36-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Frankston B. looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Guard Michael Harris (193-1999) stepped up and scored 36 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds for the winners and the former international guard Igor Hadziomerovic (193-1992, college: Boise St.) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds. Four Blues players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was swingman Corey Jeffs (203-1994, college: Winona St.) with 17 points and 6 rebounds and Senegalese forward Khadim Sy (208-1997, college: Wake Forest) scored 8 points and 9 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Frankston B. moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Kilsyth C. and Hobart C.
