Not a big story in a game when 12th rankedMount Gambier Pioneers (5-8) lost to fifth ranked Rangers (9-4) in Mt Gambier 70-79 on Friday. Point guard Dallas Loughridge (167-2004) notched 26 points to lead the effort and Manuela Puoch supported her with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Five Rangers players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 16 points and 11 rebounds by American forward Haliegh Reinoehl (188-1998, college: Akron) did not help to save the game for Mt Gambier . Her fellow American import guard Jayda Jansen (175-2000, college: Toledo) added 21 points for lost side. Dandenong R. moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Waverley F. Loser Mount Gambier Pioneers dropped to the tenth position with eight games lost. They share it with Bankstown B. and Penrith.
