Regular Season Round 10: Dandenong R. - Nunawading S. 86-65

Date: June 1, 2025
No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Rangers (9-4) crushed 11th ranked Spectres (6-7) in Dandenong 86-65 on Sunday. Dandenong R. dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Spectres's 34. Forward Nyadiew Puoch (189-2004) notched 38 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds to lead the effort and swingman Georgia Booth (174-2003) supported her with 13 points and 9 rebounds. Five Rangers players scored in double figures. Even 20 points and 7 rebounds (made all of her seven free throws) by guard Rachel Brewster (180-1997, college: Utah St.) did not help to save the game for Nunawading S.. The former international guard Rachel Antoniadou (175-1996, college: FSU) added 13 points and 4 assists for lost side. Dandenong R. moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Waverley F. Loser Spectres keeps the eleventh position with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
