We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Eltham where eighteenth ranked Wildcats (3-11) edged 17th ranked Lady Braves (3-13) 82-81 on Saturday. Eltham W. looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of center Rebecca Pizzey (190-1999) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks and Canadian forward Kennedy Dickie (183-2001, college: Portland) who added 14 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Four Bendigo players scored in double figures. Eltham W. moved-up to seventeenth place. Bendigo lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the nineteenth position with 13 games lost. Eltham W. will meet at home league's second-placed Keilor T. in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Bendigo will play against Nunawading S.
