There was no surprise in Goodwood where 9th rankedMavericks (2-9) were crushed by third ranked Eagles (9-3) 76-48 on Saturday. Forestville E. dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Mavericks 's 30. Forestville E. forced 20 Eastern M. turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Samantha Simons (188-2000, college: SMC) who helped to win the game recording 25 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and Jess Simons who added 20 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Bella Schaftenaar with 12 points and American center Aspen Williston (193, college: UCO) scored 8 points and 8 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Forestville E. moved-up to second place, which they share with W.Adelaide B. Eastern M. lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with nine games lost.
