Not a big story in a game in Cranbourne where 19th rankedNW Tasmania Thunder (4-11) was outplayed by third ranked Cavaliers (9-5) 102-82 on Saturday. Casey dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to NW Tasmania Thunder 's 36. They outrebounded NW Tasmania 39-23 including 27 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Nate Roberts (211-2000, college: Washington) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists and American-Kenyan forward Preston Bungei (198-1995, college: Norfolk St.) who added 19 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was the former international guard Kye Savage (186-2005) with 22 points and 5 steals and guard Tre Armstrong (198-2000, college: CBU, agency: Interperformances) scored 15 points. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. NW Tasmania Thunder's coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Despite that victory Casey went down to fourth position due to points difference, which they share with Joondalup W. NW Tasmania lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the eighteenth place with 11 games lost.
