We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Rockhampton where 10th rankedCyclones (3-5) were defeated by eleventh ranked Pirates (1-6) 97-93 on Sunday. SW Metro P. made 22-of-27 free shots (81.5 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Grace Champion who helped to win the game recording 34 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) and American swingman Beyonce Bea (185, college: WSU) who added 24 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American forward Chelsey Perry (188-1999, college: UT Martin, agency: LBM Management) with a double-double by scoring 40 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds and her fellow American import swingman Moira Joiner (178-2000, college: Michigan St.) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points, 14 rebounds and 7 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Pirates maintains eleventh position with 1-6 record. It was Rockhampton C. 's third loss in a row. They dropped to the seventh place with five games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams.
