There was an upset in Seaford where higher rankedBlues (8-7) were edged by fourteenth ranked Ringwood Hawks (7-8) 91-88 on Sunday. Strangely Frankston B. outrebounded Ringwood 50-34 including 17 on the offensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international guard Angus Glover (192-1998) who helped to win the game recording 16 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and American guard Jonathan Lawton (188-1996, college: FSC) who added 12 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Worth to mention Lawton played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped get the job in pro basketball. The best for the losing side was guard Michael Harris (193-1999) with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Kingsley Box (196-2001, college: SUU) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 18 rebounds. Five Ringwood and four Frankston B. players scored in double figures. Ringwood Hawks have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Waverley F. Loser Blues dropped to the seventh position with seven games lost. They share it with Kilsyth C..
