There was no surprise when 9th rankedSabres (7-8) were outleveled by fourth ranked Rangers (11-4) in Dandenong 108-73 on Saturday. Dandenong R. forced 22 Sandringham S. turnovers and had a 32-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. Dandenong R. looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Forward Nyadiew Puoch (189-2004) nailed a double-double by scoring 40 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and point guard Dallas Loughridge (167-2004) accounted for 19 points and 12 assists (perfect from the field making all six shots). Guard Haylee Andrews (178-2000, college: Portland) came up with 14 points and 6 assists and the former international Madison Ryan (185-2009) added 13 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Sandringham S. in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Rangers have a solid series of four victories in a row. Dandenong R. moved-up to third place, which they share with Perth R. Loser Sabres dropped to the eighth position with eight games lost. They share it with Nunawading S. and Canberra N..
