Everything went according to plan when fourth rankedBuccaneers (10-4) outplayed 6th ranked Giants (7-7) in Kalgoorlie 135-88 on Saturday. Geraldton B. dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Giants 's 38. Geraldton B. forced 19 Goldfields G. turnovers and outrebounded them 42-29 including 27 on the defensive glass. Geraldton B. shot the lights out from three sinking 18 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 18 passes made by Goldfields G. 's players. Guard Johny Narkle (199-2001) nailed 53 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds for the winning side and guard Nikolas DeSantis (191-1998) accounted for 16 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists (perfect from the field making all six shots). American forward DeSean Parsons (201-1995, college: Portland St.) came up with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Michael Jok (196-1999, college: Minot St., agency: Crossover Management) added 15 points respectively for Goldfields G. in the defeat. Four Geraldton B. and five Goldfields G. players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the third consecutive win for Buccaneers .
