Regular Season Round 11: Shepparton - Wyndham 103-77
Date: June 22, 2025
Rather predictable result when sixth rankedGators (8-7) rolled over 10th ranked Devils (4-10) in Shepparton 103-77 on Sunday. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Bryce Brown (203, college: Lindsey Wilson) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 20 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Ryan Batte (198-1999, college: Thomas More) accounted for 28 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Five Gators players scored in double figures. Guard Junior Garbrah (185-2000, college: Fort Lewis) came up with 16 points and 6 rebounds and American center Jalen Rosemond (203-2000, college: Molloy) added 14 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Wyndham in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Shepparton maintains sixth place with 8-7 record. Loser Devils dropped to the eleventh position with ten games lost. Shepparton will meet at home higher ranked Pakenham (#5) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Wyndham will play against the league's second-placed Hume City (#2) in Tullamarine and hope to secure a win.
