Bottom-rankedVikings managed to get a second victory on Saturday night. This time they edged fourth-ranked Redbacks in Melbourne 105-103 . Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized Croatian forward Ivan Platenik (201-1983, college: Alaska-Anch.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 28 points, 17 rebounds and 8 assists and American guard James Legan (190-1987, college: ECU) who added 37 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) during the contest. Vikings' coach Matthew Brooks used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was American guard Darnell Hoskins Jr (180, college: SVSU, agency: 6th Man Basketball Agency) with 30 points and Josh Uhr-Henry produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Blackburn maintains twelfth position with 2-13 record. RMIT at the other side keeps the fourth place with six games lost.
