No shocking result in a game in Newcastle where third rankedFalcons (15-3) edged 11th ranked Sharks (7-12) 65-64 on Saturday. However just one-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Newcastle F. forced 27 Sutherland turnovers. The best for the losing side was forward Madeleine Norris (188-1998) with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 21 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Emily Garland (178-2003) scored 18 points and 5 rebounds. Newcastle F. moved-up to second place, which they share with Norths B. Loser Sharks dropped to the twelfth position with 12 games lost.
