The game had a very big importance for third-rankedEagles as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Eagles smashed 8th ranked Tigers in Goodwood 82-58 . Forestville E. dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Tigers 's 34. Forestville E. forced 22 Southern T. turnovers. The best player for the winners was swingman Samantha Simons (188-2000, college: SMC) who had a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds. Rachael King chipped in 15 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). At the other side the best for losing team was Croatian forward Iva Belosevic (185-1997, college: UTRGV) who recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds and Annelise Bartsch added 19 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Eagles (13-3) have an impressive series of six victories in a row. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with W.Adelaide B. Southern T. lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with 12 games lost.
