There was no surprise when 11th rankedMustangs (7-11) lost to ninth ranked Crusaders (9-9) in Terrigal 94-98 on Saturday. Cent.Coast C. made 23-of-29 free shots (79.3 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Garric Young who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 15 rebounds. Forward Lino Manhom (213-1998, college: UTPB) accounted for 14 points, 24 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winning side. American Mandrell Worthy (191-1996, college: Azusa Pacific, agency: Starting 5) came up with 30 points and forward Billy Parsons (198-2001) added 9 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks respectively for Maitland in the defeat. Five Cent.Coast C. and four Maitland players scored in double figures. Mustangs' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Crusaders have a solid series of three victories in a row. Cent.Coast C. moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Newcastle F. and Kalamunda ES. Maitland lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth position with 11 games lost. They share it with Perry Lakes H. and East Perth E..
