There was a small surprise when ninth rankedRingwood Hawks (11-10) beat 6th ranked Tigers (12-8) in Heathmont 93-82 on Tuesday. Ringwood looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was an exceptional evening for the former international guard Angus Glover (192-1998) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international guard Tanner Krebs (198-1996, college: SMC) accounted for 14 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists for the winning side. Forward Jack Purchase (203-1995, college: Hawaii) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds and the former international center Harrison Froling (210-1998, college: Marquette) added 15 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Melbourne T. in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Despite that victory Ringwood went down to tenth position due to points difference. Loser Tigers dropped to the fifth place with eight games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams.
