No shocking result in a game when tenth rankedCavaliers (9-11) beat 15th ranked Lady Cobras (5-15) in Cranbourne 92-86 on Friday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The winners were led by forward Brooke Malone (185-2003, college: Idaho) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds and American guard Sabrina Haines (178-1997, college: Kentucky) supported her with 22 points and 8 rebounds. Even 22 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists by Abby OConnor did not help to save the game for Kilsyth . Forward Shannon Dufficy (188-1997, college: Oregon) added 16 points and 11 rebounds for lost side. Four Casey and five Kilsyth players scored in double figures. Lady Cobras' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Cavaliers have a solid four-game winning streak. Despite that victory Casey went down to eleventh position due to points difference, which they share with Nunawading S. Kilsyth lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth place with 15 games lost.
