Everything went according to plan when eighth rankedFrankston Blues (12-8) outplayed 19th ranked Wildcats (4-16) in Seaford 98-64 on Friday. Frankston B. dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Wildcats 's 30. Frankston B. outrebounded Eltham W. 45-32 including 30 on the defensive glass. Frankston B. looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Eltham W. 's players. The winners were led by Spanish guard Marta Hermida (180-1997, college: Boise St.) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 9 assists and forward Louise Brown (189-1995, college: Tennessee) supported her with 25 points and 14 rebounds. Even a double-double of 21 points and 14 rebounds by Canadian forward Kennedy Dickie (183-2001, college: Portland) did not help to save the game for Eltham W. . Taylah Short added 16 points for lost side. Frankston B. moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Melbourne. Eltham W. lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the seventeenth position with 16 games lost.
