Everything went according to plan when fifth rankedWarriors (9-8) defeated 8th ranked Tigers (4-13) in Morphett Vale 76-61 on Saturday. Woodville W. forced 27 Southern T. turnovers. The winners were led by guard Jasmin Fejo (177-2000) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 17 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals and American forward Laura Erikstrup (188, college: GCU) supported her with 17 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Warriors players scored in double figures. Warriors' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even a double-double of 25 points and 14 rebounds by Croatian forward Iva Belosevic (185-1997, college: UTRGV) did not help to save the game for Southern T. . American guard McKenzie Johnston (170-1996, college: Montana) added 13 points, 16 rebounds and 9 assists for lost side. Woodville W. maintains fifth position with 9-8 record, which they share with East Perth E. Southern T. lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with 13 games lost.
