Rather expected game in Mandurah where 6th rankedMagic (10-9) was rolled over by fourth ranked Buccaneers (14-4) 115-75 on Saturday. Geraldton B. dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Magic 's 38. Geraldton B. outrebounded Mandurah 48-33 including a 37-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Geraldton B. looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Mandurah 's players. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Verle Williams Jr (180-1997) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 7 assists (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) and guard Nikolas DeSantis (191-1998) who added 20 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Five Buccaneers players scored in double figures. At the losing side point guard Lachlan Bertram (183-2001) responded with 23 points and guard Jermaine Malie (185-1996) scored 23 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Buccaneers have an impressive seven-game winning streak. Geraldton B. keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Warwick S. and BA CoE. Loser Magic keeps the sixth place with nine games lost.
