Everything went according to plan when fifth rankedRangers (14-6) outplayed 13th ranked Ballarat Miners (7-13) in Wendouree 108-66 on Saturday. Dandenong R. dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Ballarat Miners 's 24. Dandenong R. outrebounded Ballarat M. 38-20 including a 28-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Dandenong R. looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The winners were led by forward Nyadiew Puoch (189-2004) who scored that evening 20 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals and point guard Dallas Loughridge (167-2004) supported her with 24 points and 7 assists. Five Rangers players scored in double figures. Rangers' coach felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 14 points by Laura Taylor did not help to save the game for Ballarat M. . Kaleena Lewis added 13 points for lost side. Dandenong R. moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Waverley F. Loser Ballarat Miners keeps the thirteenth position with 13 games lost.
