There was no surprise in Brisbane where 11th rankedCapitals (3-10) were defeated by second ranked Thunder (12-1) 79-75 on Friday. Logan T. made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was point guard Mikhaela Cann (173-1994) who scored 27 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. American Leah Scott (183-1993, college: Marshall) chipped in 23 points and 9 rebounds. Four Thunder players scored in double figures. Thunder's coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Forward Grace Ellis (183, college: CSU) produced 26 points and 9 rebounds and Ashley Arlen added 17 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists respectively for the hosts.
