There was a surprise result when sixteenth rankedRangers (8-14) beat 4th placed Chargers (13-9) in Hobart 99-92 on Friday. Dandenong R. made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. The former international forward Mason Peatling (203-1997, college: EWU) nailed a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and American forward Ruot Monyyong (210-1998, college: UALR) accounted for 20 points and 9 rebounds. German center Ole Angerstein (208-1995) came up with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 13 rebounds (on 12-of-14 shooting from the field) and swingman Will Cranston-Lown (185-2000, college: Regis Univ.) added 17 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists respectively for Hobart C. in the defeat. Five Dandenong R. and four Hobart C. players scored in double figures. Dandenong R. moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with Bendigo and Keilor T. Loser Chargers dropped to the eighth position with nine games lost.
