The most exciting game of round 15 in the Big V took place in Tullamarine. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of second-bestHume City Broncos (15-4) to sixth ranked Gators (10-9) 90-89 on Saturday evening. Strangely Hume City outrebounded Shepparton 47-34 including 16 on the offensive glass. It was a great evening for American forward Ryan Batte (198-1999, college: Thomas More) who led his team to a victory scoring 32 points and 4 assists. His fellow American import forward Bryce Brown (203, college: Lindsey Wilson) helped adding 22 points and 11 rebounds. The best for the losing side was New Zealand Zach Mckenzie (-2002) with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 19 rebounds and American forward Kavione Green (195, college: Bloomfield, agency: Dominion Sports Group) scored 27 points and 6 rebounds. Hume City Broncos' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Shepparton maintains sixth place with 10-9 record, which they share with Melbourne Uni. Hume City at the other side keeps the second position with four games lost.
