Very expected game when 14th rankedSlammers (1-19) were smashed by second ranked Senators (16-4) in Bunbury 130-79 on Saturday. Warwick S. dominated down low during the game scoring 78 of its points in the paint compared to Slammers ' 38 and made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Warwick S. outrebounded SW Slammers 40-26 including a 29-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Warwick S. shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. The former international guard Elijah Pepper (193-2001, college: UC Davis) nailed 59 points (!!!) and 9 assists for the winning side and British guard Mitchell Clarke (186-1999) accounted for 18 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). American power forward Jamal Poplar (204-1996, college: Seward County) came up with 19 points and point guard Pharell Keats (179-2005) added 11 points and 6 assists respectively for SW Slammers in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Warwick S. maintains second place with 16-4 record having just 7 victories less than leader Illawarra H. 2. SW Slammers lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the fourteenth position with 19 games lost.
