Everything went according to plan in Alexandria where fourth ranked Lady Bandits (15-5) beat 10th ranked Comets (8-12) 92-83 on Sunday. Albury forced 20 Sydney C. turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Sydney C.'s players. The best player for the winners was American guard Riley Lupfer (175, college: Boise St.) who scored 24 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals. Guard Caitlyn Jones (175-2001, college: Idaho) chipped in 23 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Lady Bandits players scored in double figures. Swingman Abigail Curtin (185-1997, college: Denver) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds and forward Piper Anderson (180-2003) added 26 points and 5 assists respectively for the hosts. Lady Bandits have a solid series of three victories in a row. Albury maintains fourth place with 15-5 record. Loser Comets keeps the tenth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Sutherland. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
