Regular Season Round 17: BA CoE - Maitland M. 48-49

Important game to mention about took place in Canberra. Seventh ranked Mustangs (10-10) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging 5th ranked BA CoE (12-8) 49-48 on Sunday evening. American forward Sydney Hunter (183-1999, college: San Diego) nailed 15 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side and her fellow American import forward Kasey Neubert (185, college: San Diego) accounted for 16 points and 8 rebounds. Mustangs' coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Aspen Crase came up with 8 points and 10 rebounds and Jemyma Manyok added 10 points and 7 rebounds respectively for BA CoE in the defeat. Maitland maintains seventh place with 10-10 record. BA CoE at the other side keeps the fifth position with eight games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
