Bottom-rankedVikings managed to get a fourth victory on Saturday night. This time they won against eighth-ranked Camberwell in Melbourne 103-87 . It's especially surprising that the victory came too easily and 16-point difference proves that Vikings was well-prepared to that game. Blackburn looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard James Legan (190-1987, college: ECU) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 4 assists and naturalized Croatian forward Ivan Platenik (201-1983, college: Alaska-Anch.) who added 12 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Four Vikings players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Sean Conway (196-2001, college: St.John's, agency: Warren Sports International) responded with 42 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds (made all of his fourteen free throws !!!) and Matthew Hart scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. Blackburn maintains twelfth position with 4-17 record. Camberwell lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with 12 games lost.
