We should mention about the upset which took place in Bunbury, where higher rankedTigers (11-9) lost to thirteenth ranked Slammers (3-17) in a road game 65-76 on Friday. SW Slammers forced 21 Willetton T. turnovers. It was a great evening for American guard Mykea Gray (163-1998, college: Miami, FL) who led her team to a victory scoring 19 points and 6 steals. Sarah Cannell helped adding 13 points and 9 rebounds. Four Slammers players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Ajulu Thatha (185-2000, college: FGCU) responded with 7 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists and New Zealand swingman Eva Langton (185-1999, college: TAMIU) scored 12 points and 6 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. SW Slammers moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Kalamunda ES. Willetton T. lost their third game in a row. They keep the fifth position with nine games lost. They share it with 3 other teams.
