Everything went according to plan in Bunbury where fourth rankedTigers (16-6) beat 14th ranked Slammers (1-21) 109-92 . Willetton T. outrebounded SW Slammers 46-34 including 19 on the offensive glass. Willetton T. players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Taeshon Cherry (203-1999, college: Marian, IN, agency: Elevate Sports Alliance) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Damien Scott (192-1992) accounted for 12 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side. Four Tigers players scored in double figures. American power forward Jamal Poplar (204-1996, college: Seward County) came up with a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds and point guard Pharell Keats (179-2005) added 6 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists respectively for SW Slammers in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Willetton T. moved-up to second place, which they share with Mt.Gambier. SW Slammers lost their eighth game in a row. They keep the fourteenth position with 21 games lost.
