Regular Season Round 6: Perth - Brisbane 93-110

Date: October 15, 2025
Another interesting game for Brisbane (2-5) which played on the court of higher ranked Perth (3-2). Eighth ranked Brisbane had an easy win 110-93. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Wildcats. They outrebounded Wildcats 39-27 including 28 on the defensive glass. Bullets players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. American swingman Casey Prather (198-1991, college: Florida) had a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) to lead the charge for the winners and New Zealand center Tyrell Harrison (214-1999) chipped in 27 points and 15 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was naturalized South Sudanese center Jo Lual-Acuil (213-1994, college: Baylor) with 18 points and American guard Mason Jones (193-1998, college: Arkansas) scored 19 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Brisbane maintains eighth position with 2-5 record, which they share with NZL Breakers. Perth at the other side keeps the fourth place with two games lost. Brisbane will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Perth will play on the road against Sydney (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
