An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Perth. Third rankedPerth Lynx faced 4th ranked Southside Flyers . Host Perth Lynx (7-3) defeated guests from Dandenong (3-6) 98-81 . Perth players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The former international forward Anneli Maley (185-1998, college: TCU) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 19 rebounds and 6 assists. International guard Amy Atwell (183-1998, college: Hawaii) contributed with 32 points for the winners. Four Perth Lynx players scored in double figures. The former international point guard Maddison Rocci (168-1998) replied with 24 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists and international center Cayla George (193-1989) added 16 points and 15 rebounds in the effort for Southside. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Perth maintains third position with 7-3 record having just two points less than leader Townsville. Southside lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth place with six games lost.
