An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Perth. Third ranked Perth Lynx faced 4th placed Canberra Capitals. Host Perth Lynx (11-3) smashed guests from Canberra (6-8) 75-49. Perth held Canberra to an opponent 24.3 percent shooting from the field compared to 39.1 percent accuracy of the winners. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Anneli Maley (185-1998, college: TCU) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points, 21 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international guard Alex Wilson (175-1994) chipped in 28 points and 6 assists. Perth Lynx's coach Ryan Petrik felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. French forward Kadiatou Sissoko (188-1999, college: USC) produced 20 points and 5 rebounds and added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Perth Lynx have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Townsville.
