Magic used a home court advantage and crushed the opponent from Rockingham 97-77 on Friday night. Mandurah made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Rockingham F. turnovers and outrebounded them 47-36 including 33 on the defensive glass. Mandurah looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Rockingham F. 's players. Forward Mia Jacobs (188-2004, college: Oregon) notched a double-double by scoring 22 points, 18 rebounds and 8 assists to lead the effort and guard Claire Jacobs (183-2001, college: Nevada) supported her with 34 points (!!!) and 7 assists. Four Magic players scored in double figures. Even 24 points and 5 rebounds by the former international guard Amy Atwell (183-1998, college: Hawaii) did not help to save the game for Rockingham F. . Paris Spencer added 16 points and 5 rebounds for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
