Regular Season Round 3: Knox R. - Casey C. 86-82

Cavaliers (0-1) recorded a loss in Wantirna South. Visitors were defeated by Knox Raiders (1-1) 86-82. Knox R. players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Paige Bradley (178-1994, college: Denver) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 7 rebounds and 11 assists. Forward Alicia Froling (190-1996, college: SMU) accounted for 17 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. point guard Dallas Loughridge (167-2004) came up with 30 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) and forward Nyaduoth Lok (178-2000, agency: Crossover Management) added 15 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Casey in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Knox Raiders will play against Dandenong R. (#15) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Cavaliers will play against Frankston B. (#2) and hope to get finally their first victory.
