Very predictable result when eighth rankedCavaliers (4-1) defeated on the road bottom-ranked Northern Force (0-6) 88-84 on Saturday. Strangely Northern Force outrebounded Casey 45-29 including 31 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was point guard Dallas Loughridge (167-2004) who scored 29 points and 9 assists. Forward Chelsea DAngelo (180-2000) chipped in 22 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international forward Keely Froling (188-1996, college: SMU) who recorded 35 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) and Sarah ONeill added 10 points and 12 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Northern Force's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Cavaliers have a solid four-game winning streak. Casey moved-up to second place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Northern Force still closes the standings with six games lost.
