Everything went according to plan when top-rankedExcellence (4-0) defeated 10th ranked Mustangs (2-4) in Maitland 86-69 on Sunday. BA CoE forced 19 Maitland turnovers and outrebounded them 42-30 including 29 on the defensive glass. Guard Alexander Dickeson (191-2007) notched 21 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals to lead the effort and forward Jai Fa'ale (195-2008) supported him with 14 points. Four Excellence players scored in double figures. Excellence's coach used entire bench and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Even 20 points and 9 assists by swingman Will Cranston-Lown (185-2000, college: Regis Univ.) did not help to save the game for Maitland . Forward Billy Parsons (198-2001) added 17 points and 7 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). Excellence have a solid four-game winning streak. BA CoE moved-up to fifth place. Loser Mustangs dropped to the eleventh position with four games lost. They share it with Diamond V.E. and Sandringham S..
