We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Booval where 8th rankedForce (1-2) was defeated by ninth ranked Meteors (2-2) 112-95 on Saturday. Mackay dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Force 's 40. Mackay had a 33-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 52.0 percentage. Mackay looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Forward Kobey Sager (-2004) fired a double-double by scoring 27 points and 12 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) for the winners. American guard Jerron Jamerson (194-1992, college: Goshen) chipped in 25 points and 4 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Four Meteors players scored in double figures. The former international swingman Samuel McDaniel (198-1995, college: ULM) produced 34 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds and forward Lachlan Anderson (206-1997, college: EKU) added 26 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Mackay moved-up to sixth place, which they share with SD Spartans. Loser Force dropped to the ninth position with two games lost.
