Everything went according to plan in Penrith where twelfth rankedComets (3-5) won against 15th ranked Panthers (1-5) 73-60 on Sunday. Sydney C. forced 19 Penrith turnovers and outrebounded them 53-35 including 17 on the offensive glass. Sydney C. looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for Alexandria Oliver who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds. The former international guard Mikayla Pirini (169-1996) helped adding 12 points, 5 rebounds and 12 assists. Four Comets players scored in double figures. At the losing side Hannah Griffin responded with 29 points and Tatiana Beaumont scored 6 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists. Sydney C. moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Southern T. Penrith lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the fifteenth position with five games lost.
