No shocking result in a game when top-rankedNorth Bears (10-0) beat 3rd ranked Falcons (6-2) in Crows Nest 93-75 on Saturday. Norths B. forced 21 Newcastle F. turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The winners were led by the former international guard Jazmin Shelley (165-2000, college: Nebraska) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 28 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals and American forward Talya Brugler (185-2002, college: St.Joseph's) supported her with 26 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!). Even a double-double of 23 points and 12 rebounds by American guard Nicole Munger (178-1997, college: Michigan) did not help to save the game for Newcastle F. . Guard Kate Kingham (180-2002, college: Wesleyan) added 18 points and 6 rebounds for the guests. North Bears have an impressive ten-game winning streak. Norths B. maintains first position with 10-0 record. Loser Falcons keeps the third place with two games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams.
