Very expected game in Bendigo where 18th rankedMiners (1-8) were defeated by tenth ranked Braves (5-3) 94-83 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Biwali Bayles (185-2002, college: Hawaii) who helped to win the game recording 25 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and American forward Jarvis Doles (203-1998, college: UMBC, agency: Crossover Management) who added 13 points and 14 rebounds during the contest. Worth to mention Doles played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped get the job in pro basketball. Five Braves players scored in double figures. point guard Lachlan Dent (184-2000) responded with 41 points (!!!) and 5 assists and Canadian guard Jaden Campbell (195-2000, college: Samford) scored 16 points and 5 assists. Bendigo moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Joondalup W. and East Perth E. Ballarat M. lost seventh consecutive game. They dropped to the fourteenth position with eight games lost.
