We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Taigum where 5th rankedWizards (2-2) were defeated by sixth ranked Flames (3-2) 89-84 on Saturday. Townsville F. made 16-of-17 free shots (94.1 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international swingman Courtney Woods (183-1997, college: NIU) who had a double-double by scoring 26 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists (went 11 for 11 at the free throw line !!!). Forward Chailee Ward (180-2003) chipped in 21 points. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Grace Ellis (183, college: CSU) who recorded a double-double by scoring 24 points and 15 rebounds and Nes'eya Parker-Williams (186-2001) added 17 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Four Northside W. players scored in double figures. Townsville F. moved-up to fifth place. Loser Wizards dropped to the sixth position with two games lost.
