An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Melbourne. Second rankedJets faced 4th ranked Camberwell . Guests from Sunbury (6-2) defeated host Camberwell (5-4) 86-74 . Sunbury shot the lights out from three nailing 14 long-distance shots on high 56.0 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. American guard Ishmael Sanders (188-1992, college: C-N) orchestrated the victory by scoring 40 points (!!!), 5 assists and 4 steals. Milan Savic contributed with 16 points and 6 assists for the winners. American point guard Brennen Burns (178-2002, college: SHSU) replied with 23 points and forward Ayuel Ayuel (198, college: N.Mexico JC) added 18 points in the effort for Camberwell. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Sunbury maintains second position with 6-2 record behind leader Gippsland Utd. Camberwell at the other side dropped to the fifth place with four games lost.
