There was a surprise result when eighteenth rankedNorthern Force (3-11) beat at home higher ranked Chargers (7-7) 99-94 on Saturday. It was a great evening for Logan Gibson who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international guard Kye Savage (186-2005) helped adding 33 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds. Forward Jacob Richards (200-2001) responded with 21 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists and the former international swingman Anthony Drmic (198-1992, college: Boise St.) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Chargers' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Northern Force moved-up to seventeenth place, which they share with Geelong U. Loser Chargers dropped to the sixth position with seven games lost. They share it with Cent.Coast C..
