There was a small surprise in Cotton Tree where fourth rankedPhoenix (6-2) outleveled their close opponent Thunder (5-2) 116-87 on Saturday. SC Phoenix made 33-of-42 free shots (78.6 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Logan T. turnovers. SC Phoenix looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for guard Darnell Robateau (185-1997, college: PLNU) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists. Guard Jamaal Robateau (196-1994, college: Gardner-Webb) helped adding 28 points and 6 rebounds (was perfect 11-for-11 from the free throw line !!!). Guard Shaun Bruce (192-1991) responded with 26 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists and forward Callum Dalton (206-2000) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Phoenix . SC Phoenix moved-up to third place. Loser Thunder dropped to the fifth position with two games lost.
