Regular Season Round 11: Melbourne T. - Nunawading S. 93-95

Date: May 31, 2026
There was a small surprise in Melbourne where fourth ranked Spectres (10-4) edged leader Tigers (10-3) 95-93 on Sunday. It was a great evening for American guard Dylan Penn (190, college: Vermont) who led his team to a victory scoring 27 points. Swingman Christian DAngelo (191-2003) helped adding 20 points and 5 rebounds. The former international guard Tom Wilson (195-1997, college: SMU) responded with 40 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!) and forward Jack Purchase (203-1995, college: Hawaii) scored 16 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. Nunawading S. moved-up to third place, which they share with Knox R. Loser Tigers still keeps top position with three games lost. They share it with Eltham W.. Nunawading S. will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Melbourne T. will play against Casey in Cranbourne and hope to secure a win.
