No shocking result in a game when sixth rankedBA CoE (9-4) crushed 13th ranked Comets (3-10) in Canberra 80-60 on Sunday. BA CoE forced 20 Sydney C. turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was an exceptional evening for forward Zara Russell (185-2007) who led the winners and scored 26 points and 6 assists. Jade Sherrington accounted for 8 points and 5 assists for the winning side. The former international guard Chantel Horvat (183-1998, college: UCLA) came up with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds and the former international guard Mikayla Pirini (169-1996) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Sydney C. in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. BA CoE moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Diamond VE. Sydney C. lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the thirteenth position with ten games lost.
